Caroline Schauder

Name: Caroline Schauder

Hometown: Charlotte, North Carolina

Major: SFS’20

Favorite Leg: Swim

Goals: Complete her first Olympic distance triathlon

Bio: Caroline is a sophomore in the School of Foreign Service from Charlotte, North Carolina. She ran cross country and track throughout high school and loves spending time outdoors. Caroline competed in her first triathlon when she was 13, but she has not raced in a few years. After recovering from an extended injury, her goal is to complete an Olympic distance triathlon (specifically the run portion). She looks forward to competing this year as a member of the Georgetown team!

Caroline is one of our newest members of the team, but has quickly become one of our most committed members. Last year an ankle injury kept her from running and biking, but she is healthy and ready to race! She is one of the fastest swimmers on the team, and we can’t wait to see what she can do on the bike and run now that she is back for her second season. Carrie competed in a relay-sprint triathlon last semester, and will race her first sprint with the team in September, woo-hoo! We are so happy to welcome her back.
